Vintage Mid Century Modern Oil Painting Saxophone Player Original Frame Signed

Description

This is a very colorful and large vintage Mid Century Modern oil painting on canvas of a jazz saxophonist. It is in its original square frame.
I would estimate it dates circa 1950s or 1960s.
The overall frame measures 31 1/2 inches high x 31 1/2 inches wide (80 cm). The painting measures 30 inches high x 30 inches wide (76 cm).
It is signed in the bottom right corner GALiNDO.
The painting is in very good condition.
The frame is simple. It is made of wood.
It has some scattered damage. There are old remnants of wood putty in the corners, most notably the top left corner. There are old dabs of white paint on the left side of the exterior and a little on the front. It has some other light scattered wear, but most of this just tends to blend in with the overall look of the frame.
It goes very well with the painting as it does not take away from it, and gives it a great feeling of age.
It weighs 4 lbs. 13 oz. (2.176 kg).
