Vintage Antique Hugh Ditzler Confederate Western Civil War infantry oil painting

UP FOR AUCTION  is a vintage oil painting by Hugh ditzlerl who's born in 1871 and died in 1949. I purchased this out of a plantation home in Southern Louisiana, they were liquidating and estate and I bought a lot of fun arts and antique pieces out of there. Image measures 15 1/4 inches by 12 inches, total measurement is 17 1/4 inches by 14 inches. It looks like it may have been painted on artist canvas board or has been relined back with a harder board, I'm not sure cuz I haven't taken the back apart. There is some paint loss at the bottom left corner and bottom right by the signature as seen in one of my photos but with that said it still looks good and displays well, I'm sure buyer will be pleased. I believe it to be of a civil war scene but not 100% sure, any information would be greatly appreciated, please feel free to ask questions and see my other auctions for similar items.
