antique

of a
'Santo'
on tin sheet,
depicting the
winged archangel
Raphael,
wearing a white, laced trimmed wrap (lower skirt) holding a single fish by a string and gently holding a long staff, with a cross at its apex. In very well-preserved overall antique condition, considering it's now nearly, if not,
125 to 155 years old.
The retablo painting is still extraordinarily bright, with fairly well-preserved surfaces and almost fully saturated, vivid, bright and nearly undiminished original oil paint. Only the mostly minor to seldom occurring moderate surface abrasions and spotty subsequent oxidation, mar this otherwise extraordinary antique

figurative work. These
