Mars artworks often incorporate the use of silkscreen aka serigraphy (from the French words for "silk writing") where ink is pulled across a piece of silk fabric onto various mediums including wood, cardboard, and paper.  His works form a running commentary on global popular culture.
This is a Mars studio artifact:
Generally these are unusual works on paper or cardboard found hidden away in the studio. Experimental works, extras, odds and ends, may be scuffed, bent, nicked or torn. Fabulous treasures found tucked away in the back of racks, drawers and flat files, or wrapped up in dusty bubble wrap. Wonderful opportunities for you to find hidden gems.
