Original Signed Clown Watercolor Painting RARE EARLY George Crionas c1953 LOOK!

Offering this amazing Original Watercolor by George Crionas - a preeminent clown artist.    The piece is signed Crionas 1953 which presumably is the year the watercolor was completed.  On the opposite lower corner it is titled: Head of a Clown.  I have combed the internet and this may be the one of the earliest or earliest example of his artwork.   Obtained recently from an estate auction - piece came from a prominent art collection.   No papers come with the piece.   It came framed behind glass.  I removed in order to verify its authenticity(wanted to make sure it wasn't a print and to be able to take better photographs).   The first photo shows the piece in it's original frame as I obtained it.  I will ship the item securely without the frame.  I will mail the original frame and mat separately if buyer desires it.   I prefer not to mail with the glass however.    Dimensions of the piece are 20" tall x 13" wide.   The medium is watercolor.   I have tried to take several close ups so the buyer can see the incredible detail on the piece despite it's overall simplicity.   Great opportunity to own this one of a kind piece of art.
