Canvas condition is very fine throughout with a small indentation that has made canvas show through slightly on the sitter's left lapel.
Very heavy hardwood / plaster frames,
condition is fine with the gilt filagree detail on the 4 corners missing and a small chip on the lower center detail.
Between the 2 frames there is all the filagree and details needed to recreate molds for whats needed for a full restoration.
