ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR. EXTRAORDINARY!!!
LANGLAIS was a Maine native and maintained a studio in Cushing, Maine until his premature death at the age of 56. He developed his artistic interest at the CORCORAN SCHOOL OF ART in Washington DC and the SKOWHEGAN SCHOOL OF PAINTING & SCULPTURE.
LANGLAIS ‘work was included in two landmark shows “NEW FIRMS-NEW MEDIA (1 and 11) at the Martha Jackson Gallery and the art of assemblage at the MUSEUM OF MIDERN ART 1961. He also showed with Leo Castelli who represented noteworthy artists such as Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol.
