LG 19thC Antique VICTORIAN Old HUDSON RIVER VALLEY George MIKINSTRY Oil PAINTING
This is a Nicely colored heavily aged and poorly restored larger sized antique oil on canvas landscape featuring a small river bed with mountains in the distance. A label on the reverse indicates the painting is from the late 19th and is bye Hudson river valley artist George McKinstry. Overall in heavily crazed and poorly restored condition though the coloring is still quite impressive. Mounted in a plaster decorated white and gold painted frame in solid condition with a brass tag possibly not relating to this particular Painting. Overall a Unique a Attic Fresh find that is begging for a new life. Overall size 31 inches X 44 1/2 inches
