Set of letterpress wood type characters

A lovely set of wooden printing characters. The characters are from France and we think, they should date from around 1900.
We have counted 364 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos.
Each character measures 36 mm: 1.42 inch and 45 mm : 1.77 inch for those with descenders.
We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. Some of the characters has been replaced by metal letters.
As you will see on the pics it is a very old set and we think, that would make a nice addition to every collection and also for a museum.
Please be sure, that a careful packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport.

Shipping will be from Germany to the US for US$ 85. If you have any other shipping destination than the USA, please contact me for shipping costs. - A lot of european countries are only US$ 45 for shipping.
