historical watercolor drawing syceum building Brooklyn Navy Yard civil war era

UP FOR AUCTION IS A wonderful little historical watercolor painting of the Cyceum building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard as titled and as seen in my photos above. It is painted on a old piece of paper and later reframed, the back says for Dr Luther Sowers also as seen in one of my photos. I do not know if this piece is signed because I have not taken it out of the frame. It looks very old and I am not sure if the building is still standing in the current naval Yard so that may be a way of dating just how old this piece is. For what it is it looks good and displays well, I'm sure buyer will be pleased. please see all pictures and feel free to ask any questions and again any information would be gratefully appreciated... .............
