Description
Gillott No. 404 Fine Flexible Copperplate NibsA classic vintage nib, these are unused examples manufactured over 100 years ago. These earlier nibs are the most prized as they were hand-finished to a degree not seen in later production. The 404 is similar to the 303 but the tip is not quite as sharp -- which can be preferable when working on paper that is even slightly rough. Suitable for Spencerian work as well. The default quantity setting for this auction is one (1) nib only but you can select more and price will be discounted (further discounts for quantities for ten or more -- please ask). The box in the illustration is not included, and is shown for display purposes only. Nibs are vintage new old stock, never used, with no rust.
Payment
We are glad to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases, but it is vital that the proper checkout method be used. When buying more than one item, use the Add to Cart button -- NOT the Buy It Now button. View your cart when you are ready to complete the purchase, and if the total shipping charge is incorrect, do NOT pay. Instead, click the Request Total link at the top right and we will send you a corrected invoice.
Terms of Sale
We strongly believe in full and explicit description of any condition problems or flaws, and in very conservative grading. We stand behind our descriptions -- buy with confidence.
