    Otto Wild was born in Trostberg Germany in 1898.
    He was a German landscape, still life and figure painter. He was a member of the Hamburgische Künstlerschaft.  Since 1931 he exhibited in Hamburg among others in the Kunstverein.
    He died in Hamburg Germany in 1971.
    Since he was 58 when this was painted, it was painted in 1956.
    He painted during a very interesting time in Germany.
