American artist, early 20th century, oil on canvas.
Few records were found, but she appears to have lived/worked in the Albany, NY area and Hudson Valley.
This is particularly nice and depicts [see label on reverse], "Looking toward Windham from Hensonville, by Elizabeth Rouse"
Another label says " For Robert W. Story".
The locations are the town and hamlet around Windham NY.
The picture is framed [probably period frame], and signed L/R.
measures 20 by 15 inches [canvas]
And 25 by 20 1/2 inches approx. overall.
