Very nice
19th century oil painting on panel, +- 1890. painted in the impress. style.
There are some fine cracks, ect. because of its old age, and the painting could certainly use a cleaning. { see pictures}.
The painting shows a beautiful woodslandscape with a waterwell.
The painting is signed, Jac van Nievelt, {
Johannes Everhardus Jacobus (Jac) van Nievelt (1864-1915), is a well known Dutch painter}.
The size of the panel is, 9.4 x 13 inches.
The frame is also antique, 19th century. With lots of gold leaf. The frame is damaged on the outside.{ This can be repaired though }.
The size of the outside of the frame is, 17.4 x 21 inches.

Johannes Everhardus Jacobus (Jac) van Nievelt was geboren op 7 maart 1864 in Den Haag, en gestorven op 10 maart 1915 in Dordrecht. Jac was schilder en tekenaar, en had als onderwerpen landschappen als genre. Jac was werkzaam in de periode: 1879-1915
