Antique oil painting, { Hero Hette Ros 1872 - 1954, cottage with chickens }.

Antique oil painting on canvas,   There are some fine cracks because of its old age. { see pictures}
The painting shows a beautiful cottage with chickens eating.
The painting is signed, H.H. Ros,{ Hero Hette Ros, ( 1872 - 1954 ), is a well known  Dutch painter, see for more info. below}.
The size of the canvas is, 40 x 50 cm.
The frame is also old, and  is still in good condition for its age.
The size of the outside of the frame is, 53 x 63 cm.

Hero Hette Ros, ( 1872 - 1954),
Leeuwarden 1872 - Rotterdam 1964. Self-taught painter.
Lived and worked in Scheveningen.
His subjects: forest and dune landscape, still life, marine (as genre).
His work is in the possession of the museum in Rijswijk.
He is listed at Stichting RKD - Dutch Institute for art history -
