🔥 Antique Mid Century Modern Asian India Nude Woman Oil Painting, Signed

Description

This is a beautiful and well done Antique Mid Century Modern Asian India Oil Painting on canvas, depicting a traditionally dressed Indian woman in a river, wearing a sari and seductively exposing one bare breast and wistfully looking over her shoulder. This work is signed in the lower right corner, but the signature is illegible to me. Perhaps you recognize the signature or the artist? This painting dates approximately to the 1950’s - 1960’s. This work is unframed and not affixed to a stretcher. Due to the lack of nail holes on the canvas, I don’t think it was ever mounted to a stretcher. The painted areas are approximately 21 x 29 inches. This work is unusual, as it is painted on a olive green canvas, which I have never seen before.
