A beautiful and large oil on canvas painting, the first half of 19th century,French school, giltwood frame with minor chips of gold and polychrome.
In the style of Fragonard, courtship scene, with figure and old ruins, detailed masterpiece
Canvas size 25 ¾ x 32”, frame 28 ½ x 35”.
The canvas is in fair good condition, Probably re-lined, surface soiling, hazing lower right,
old craquelure and ingrained surface soiling, otherwise in good aged condition.
