OK, here is what I am offering....
I wanted to come up with some type of really inexpensive way to keep vibrations down.
There are some ANTI-VIBRATION devices that I found in the tens to hundreds of dollars. I found some spring devices in the -0 range.
I simply did not want to spend that kind of money.
I was aware of the dampening factor of felt that is used for drum cymbals.
I was aware of the dampening factor of hard rubber as well as Sorbothane.
So, I basically put them together. You can do the same thing, or buy them from me at cost, as I made a bunch of them.
These hard a hard rubber chocolate filling of a regulation quality 3” Howie hockey puck.
Then, I used two cookies, (3” furniture felt pads), and put them on each side of the puck.
Voila. A chocolate Oreo anti-vibration unit. (4
pack)
Now, I cannot guarantee that these will work as good as the ones in the hundreds of dollars. In fact, I offer no guarantee whatsoever.
You are only buying a felt lined hockey puck, a pack of 4!!!
I bought a ton of these, and now have plenty for my personal use.
Once they are gone, they are gone.
They are to be used however you wish.
The concept was a softer more vibration absorbent material, felt, encasing a hard rubber pad, and that pad was a hockey puck.
Use your imagination. Use them for whatever you see fit.
No returns. They look great. In theory, they combine two elements of anti-vibration control.
For - you could buy a thin rubber 4” by 4” car pad on top of some cheap cork, or get a regulation hockey puck with a delicious layer of carpet pad on each end.
All sales are final, as I do not know or care what or how you will use them.
I call them “Anti-vibration Chocolate Oreo Hockey Pucks”.
Disclaimer: Not to be ingested. They taste terrible, and are incredibly chewy.
